    Website

The Austrian photographer Daniel Schaler looks back on over 15 years of experience in press photography.

The passion for photography runs in the family: his grandfather, grandmother and father already captured the most important moments in Austria with their cameras.

Schaler worked for Austria's largest daily newspapers and gained national recognition with his impressive pictures.

In 2014 he was nominated for the Austrian Press Photo of the Year, and a year later he won the coveted prize in the Chronicle category.

His career took him to Berlin for 1.5 years, where he also worked for the most renowned daily newspapers. There he was able to further sharpen his eye for current events and deepen his expertise in reportage photography.

With a unique sense for the right moment, Daniel Schaler tells stories that last beyond the moment. His pictures are more than documentation – they are visual testimonies of our time.

Our Why:

Our world is colorful – and that's a good thing. When young meets old, when people of different backgrounds and professions make a difference together, something new, human, strong is created. We show initiatives that live diversity - and invite you to become active yourself.

Whether it's a neighborhood project, intercultural dialogue or intergenerational care: get involved, help shape it, network.

Because diversity not only connects – but also changes.

♾️ By "across all borders" we mean collaboration & cooperation wherever one could theoretically draw a "border" – i.e. age, gender, origin, color and everything else that makes up our diversity.

🙋 The focus is on innovation, education, family / health as well as integration & cooperation in general. But all stories are welcome!
